A waning gibbous card, Pleasure warns against taking life too seriously. Today is a day for seeking the light-hearted. Watch a funny movie, or a comedian, or read a book that will make you laugh. Find something that brings you pleasure and do it today without feeling frivolous.
Balance in all things is something we need, and seeking pleasure balances life’s demands. It’s okay to take time for fun. More, it’s imperative.
Part of finding pleasure lies in letting go. Releasing stress and thoughts of all the shoulds in your life. Letting go is hard, and it’s not always fun, which flies in the face of today’s pursuit, so, just for today, put your worries on the shelf and find something fun to do. Your psyche will thank you for the relief, your mood will improve. You’ll be one step closer to true self-care and the understanding that caring for your inner being isn’t selfish, it’s necessary.
Turquoise is the companion stone for today. One of my favorites.
