We had company last weekend and took them to our favorite antiques store where we found this…decanter, I guess.

BeautyLots to consider with this card. Where do you find beauty? Is it in nature, music, the face of your loved ones? The shine of a polished surface?
We’re constantly bombarded with someone else’s ideal these days. All the pretty pcitures on the Internet and in magazines are supposed to define some shared sense of what beauty is, and, most likely, sell us some product to help us acheive it. Why are we buying into this idea that we have to look or be or live like someone else to have a beautiful life?
Today is the day to stop comparing yourself or your ideals of beauty to others on an external scale. Look to your own soul and decide what that word means to you and pursue or peruse only based on that from now on.
A perfect sunset can take our breath away and feed our souls. So could a plot of dandelions, or our cat’s adorable toe beans. We should be taking time to allow for the transcendent in our lives. We just don’t need to consider anyone else’s opinion on what that might be.
On a practical note, this card encourages us to clear up household clutter.

Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar
one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam comments?
If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can advise?
I get so much lately it’s driving me crazy so any assistance is very much
appreciated.
I generally just don’t allow them. I am for these posts and once the month is over, I’ll turn them off.
